My remote desktop connection to VPS is lagging or very slow

Your connection between the VPS and broker server should be very minimal delay and lag, even though it may appear that the lag is between broker and vps it is more likely for example, when you are located in a completely different part of the world to your VPS server and there can be delay in the connection between your home computer and the VPS server. These can be minimised by decreasing the colour settings in remote desktop connection (you do not need 24bit colour just to trade!) or even the resolution you connect at. You can always check the ping between your vps and the broker server if you are unsure or worried it is shown in the bottom right corner on the MT4 platform.
